Think in layers, movement, and tone. Portrait sessions are best styled with minimal palettes, rich textures, and silhouettes that photograph well in natural light. Try to avoid super thin stripes, tight plaid, and micro-dots - These can create a weird visual effect called "moiré."
What should be worn for a session?
Yes—often and happily! Whether it’s Stillwater, Tulsa, OKC, or somewhere farther away, I love photographing in both familiar and new spaces.
Do you travel?
I typically book at least 2 weeks in advance for portraits, and 3-4 weeks for families and couples. However, I always welcome last-minute magic when possible!
